Larry is a Utah native. He grew up in beautiful Park City, Utah where his family had homesteaded since the early 1900's. His family was Instrumental to the history of skiing in Utah. The Rasmussen Ranch with the "Well Come Inn" Cafe and Ecker Hill Ski Jump were the center of Utah skiing in the 1920's and 30's, and hosted the 1935 World Ski Jumping Championships. You can find out more information about Ecker Hill as it is on the National Register of Historic places along with visiting the Utah Winter Ski Park in Park City. A tour of the Alf Engen Ski Museum contains much of the early history of skiing in Utah. The Rasmussen Ranch has a place in the Museum. Larry has been an active member of the community starting with his career in the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country. He has a wide range of experiences from Mechanic, Lumber Yard Foreman, Excavation and snow removal. He was elected Justice Court Judge serving the Park City Precinct of Summit County for 4 years. Larry's family moved to West Jordan, Utah in 1997 where he loves spending time in his beautiful home. Larry enjoys doing projects around home and being with his family. An ocasional game of golf is much appreciated. Larry became a licensed Realtor in 1992, and since 1995 is Principal Broker of Kilby Realty. Larry is a Graduate Realtor® Institute of Utah (GRI). Larry has helped hundreds of people buy and sell properties. His list of satisfied clients is impressive. His goal is to give his clients a positive real estate experience with no hidden surprises. Precise detail to paperwork and follow-up are a necessity. Larry is constantly in communication with his clients and makes sure he is available to answer any questions. Larry continues to take classes to keep up to date on the market and real estate trends. He is up to date with his equipment he is Internet and tech-savy. Larry is excited at the opportunity to list your house or to help you get into the home of your dreams. Kathleen is also a Utah native, born in the Historic Old Miners Hospital and growing up in Park City Utah. Kathleen and Larry were married in 1972 upon Larry's return from the Air Force. They continued to live in Park City for a number of years where they raised three wonderful children. Karen, married to Steve lives in Elk Grove, California. They have 2 wonderful children. Gavyn who loves trains and cars and Ella who is a baby doll. Lisa, married to Derek lives in West Jordan, Utah. They have 2 beautiful girls. Grace who has tons of potential and Ryann who will try just about anything (with or without permission). Keith is a ramp supervisor for Southwest Airlines in San Diego. Keith thinks San Diego is just about as perfect a place to live as their is. It is sure nice to visit there in the winter time. Larry and Kathleen keep in close touch with their family and enjoy the memories they make together. Kathleen spends most of her days as a Librarian and Computer Lab Technician at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic School, however, her true passions are her grandchildren (her "best buddies") and her garden. She enjoys her time with her "best buddies" in her beautiful West Jordan home. Kathleen loves to golf with Larry, but hasen't learned how to keep score yet. Kathleen has recently placed her real estate license in "Inactive Status" in order to pursue her other indevors. |
